A blue-and-white covered vessel of rounded, compressed form, decorated throughout in underglaze cobalt blue with stylised foliage and broad, feathery leaf motifs. A substantial domed cover with a raised central finial is separated from the body by a contrasting horizontal border, and the decoration continues around the body in alternating bands to form a strong, cohesive composition.
