Description
A small white-glazed covered bowl decorated with restrained cobalt-blue ornament. The rounded bowl is fitted with a broad, slightly domed cover topped by a simple raised knop; both body and lid carry repeated blue floral motifs, with a narrow blue band encircling the shoulder. The decoration is somewhat rustic and painterly, retaining the appearance of hand-applied brushwork, and the plain interior emphasises the warm white body. The piece has a distinctly folk or provincial character.

Lid present; finial intact; decoration generally preserved; some surface wear and discoloration; minor irregularities consistent with age and use; no obvious major structural break.
