Chinese Porcelain Floral-and-Bird Lamp

An elegant porcelain vessel converted to table lighting, its cream-coloured ground decorated with richly painted floral, botanical and bird imagery. The rounded body is ornamented with flowering branches, foliage and colourful birds, and the decoration wraps around the vessel so that it reads as a decorative porcelain object even when unlit. The vessel is mounted upon a dark circular base with brass-coloured lamp hardware.
